Thursday night we played Serpents on The Jimmy Fallon Show. Rachel Maddow and Fred Armisen were the guests. Everyone there was so nice, it was really an amazing experience. I was really nervous, but everyone involved was very disarming and encouraging and excited. We slayed. Blood everywhere. Thank you all for the well wishes the last couple of days. It means a lot. Hey Newport Sharon fans,

We are very sorry to announce that the show at the Southgate House on 2/15/12 has been cancelled. The Southgate House will be closing it’s doors at the end of this year after 30 years of operation. We look forward to playing Newport in the future – we’ll see you guys real soon!

However, Grand Rapids Sharon fans rejoice! Another show’s been added the same day at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. The show details for the newly added show are below.

A holiday season delicacy in Amsterdam. Described to us by the local guys as 'greasy balls.' You're meant to cover them with powdered sugar. That's what's in the bag. There were mixed reviews.

For years now, I have admired their releases, their taste, their family, the unconditional love that Jagjaguwar has had for their bands.  I have listened to some bands since I was a teenager, they have gotten me through my formative years.  I have gotten to tour with a few of their bands, and they are some of the most genuine, open, giving, loving people I have come to find as my friends.  Now, to be a part of their family… I can hardly believe it. Thank you all for the love and support.  I can’t wait to share my new songs and adventures with you!  New album and tour to come early 2012.
