A holiday season delicacy in Amsterdam. Described to us by the local guys as 'greasy balls.' You're meant to cover them with powdered sugar. That's what's in the bag. There were mixed reviews.

Sharon was into it though after a long days' work.

Friday, Sept 23rd SVE, Hezekiah Jones and Marissa Nadler play World Cafe Live as part of the Philly F/M Fest, which begins next Thursday, September 22nd. Tickets for the show are $15 and part of the proceeds will benefit Weathervane Music. Weathervane, along with WXPN, collaborate together on the emerging artist online video and audio initiative Shaking Through.

I am excited to announce that I have signed with Jagjaguwar!

For years now, I have admired their releases, their taste, their family, the unconditional love that Jagjaguwar has had for their bands.  I have listened to some bands since I was a teenager, they have gotten me through my formative years.  I have gotten to tour with a few of their bands, and they are some of the most genuine, open, giving, loving people I have come to find as my friends.  Now, to be a part of their family… I can hardly believe it. Thank you all for the love and support.  I can’t wait to share my new songs and adventures with you!  New album and tour to come early 2012.

We just got back from Sasquatch. We rented an RV and stayed on the premises all weekend.  Did you know my boys have had dreams of being mascots since they were tiny?
You learn something new every day. Because of this weird fetish, we got to sing happy 10th birthday to Sasquatch with the Flaming Lips and comedian/musician Reggie Watts.
We got to see a lot of our friends! The Antlers, S Carey, Gayngs, Basia Bulat, Wye Oak, and many more… Special thanks to Adam Zacks and Lynn Resnick for having us. You are such beautiful people.

Now we are doing our laundry (some of us…), packing our tents, and headed down south to Bonnaroo.  We are on @1215 on Friday, but there are so many other amazing bands going on!
